Hi! I’m Kayla, the hands and hook behind Doo Be Doo Crochet.
This little business started with a tune — a “doo be doo” melody my grandma used to sing to her grandbabies. Every time I crochet, that song hums in my head and reminds me why I started: to make something soft, comforting, and full of heart.

My first-ever plushie was this little blue penguin from a beginner Wobbles kit — and yes, this one right here 👇

I remember being so proud that I finished it — I held it up like a masterpiece.
It’s tiny, lumpy, and a little uneven, but I was so happy I did it.
Looking back, it’s funny to see how far I’ve come — from this small penguin to creating full collections, custom designs, and plushies that travel home with people all over.
